Though not officialy open until September, Pod 39 Hotel's rooftop bar and lounge is testing out its two-story outdoor space, complete with original brick arches and terra cotta columns. The Pod is a recent re-open itself (previously the Allerton Hotel), and the structure is almost a century old, with landmark status. Views of New York's Murray Hill neighborhood aside, the lounge's soft open menu includes beer on tap, fresh pressed juice, and a "light bites menu," per Gothamist.
