For the third installment in their collaborative Editeur series, Hermès has paired with Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto to turn his decade-long Colours of Shadow project into a limited run of 140 silk printed scarves. Each of the 20 different designs depict Hiroshi's Polaroid experiments with color gradations and light via long exposures and close-ups. Not only are they gorgeous and utterly on-trend, but Hiroshi was inspired by a combination of Buddhist doctrines, Newton's scientific color experiments, and psychological studies on color response -- luxury and smarts.
