Autodromo creator/designer Bradley Price just rolled out a new series, Vallelunga (named for a difficult Italian circuit), that sees driving watches joining the covetable ranks of their aviation and diving counterparts. Price considered all sides when he set out to design the snappy timepieces -- “Our proprietary stainless steel case is a smooth, pebble-like form with flush caseback: no sharp edges that can dig into you, and no crevices where lint and stuff can collect. I think it looks just as good from the back as from the front." Even better, the battery can be changed with a small screwdriver, no specialized tools required. If you happen to be a classic car enthusiast, the Vallelunga series make a good show of wearing your pursuit of choice on your wrist. Go ahead and try one on before you buy!
